Colne is a vibrant market town situated in the north-east of Lancashire surrounded by some of the area’s most outstanding countryside.

Based in the Borough of Pendle, Colne dates back to pre-Roman times and gained true prominence through its cotton manufacturing. It was also the home of Wallace Hartley, the man who led the Titanic's band as the ship sank.

It’s ancient Parish Church, St Bartholomew's dates back to 1122 although it was enlarged in 1515 by prosperous cloth merchants.
